Job description

Key tasks

Duty Manager’s main function is to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the hotel and its various departments, to ensure hassle free and quality service provision to all guests at all times. Responsible for Duty Management mainly days throughout the Hotel with particular attention paid to lobby management, the outlets and Front Desk Area.

Some of the tasks include:

• Ensuring the hotel quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to appearance, cleanliness and maintenance of all hear of house and back of house areas
• Ensure all guest queries and complaints are dealt with in a satisfactory manner and within 24 hours
• To work closely with the Front Office Manager and Guest Experience Manager to ensure consistent quality service is provided to all guests
• To establish a good working relationship with your guest, visitors and colleagues creating a team that works well together and with other departments
• Use of leadership skills to maintain an effective work environment
• Welcome the guests, whether on the phone or in the hotel, and ensure that the check-in and checkout procedure is handled very well.Ensure that your team is also
