Hotel Overview:  

Known as the islands only all-suite oceanfront resort, the hotel is situated on Polo Beach in the world-class, master-planned destination of Wailea, on the south western coast of Maui. Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Beach & Pools Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Welcome guests to the Beach area and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience
·  Oversee the general cleanliness and upkeep of the beach area 
·  Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool and beach
·  Assist in promoting the facility and organizing special events as required
·  Follow departmental policies and procedures
·  Follow all safety and sanitation policies
·  Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

·  Previous experience in guest relations required
·  CPR and First Aid certification required
·  Must be able to withstand very warm/sunny conditions
· 
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

· 
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision

·  Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Highly responsible & reliable
·  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

 

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to) : 

·  Frequent walking and standing throughout shift
·  Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
·  Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
·  Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
