The DevOps Engineer role will be key to Digital Development team. Working alongside with Central DevOps Team, Delivery Center and across the Development team you will deliver the changes to software delivery processes needed. Digital team is adopting new technologies and architectural principles as well as approaches to delivery, deployment and monitoring.

What responsibilities will you have?

· Work within the team of DevOps Engineers focused primarily on delivering technical solutions for improving the overall quality of product build, deployments monitoring and alerting
· Help implement a CI/CD Strategy for the development lifecycle as well as the continual evolution of cross functional collaboration and associated best practices
· Create accurate documentation for Technical and Operations and Support Teams
· Participate in defining and prioritizing a backlog of work for the team
Other Responsibilities:

· Experience with automation and the development process in general
· Experience with Orchestration and configuration management tooling at scale preferable Ansible
· Understanding of open source solutions that enable the implementation of highly distributed, scalable and durable platforms such as Apache Kafka
· Demonstrate experience with agile methodologies and tools for development and operations such as Jira
· Well versed and experiences with open source tools commonly used to build continuous integration such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory
· Practical knowledge of the Docker container platform
· Hands-on experience on systems architecture; Windows Server, Linux and Azure provisioning
· Knowledge on relational databases and Data Lake
· Has experience on ITSM and applied ITILv3 best practices

Qualifications :

What skills & experience are we looking for?

·  1 - 6 years of working experience in systems administration, along with systems administration of Microsoft and UNIX/Linux products
·  Experience with Windows and Linux (RHEL) scripting for systems administration.
·  Experience in Jenkins, Docker, Sonar, Apache

What academic qualifications do you need?

·  Degree in Computer Science or any related fields
