The Content Strategist is tasked with leading clients in developing content and communications strategies. You will oversee the creation, curation, and governance of content, for a wide range of Enterprise clients. You will help internal stakeholders understand and produce on-brand content that target users need to find information, make decisions, and complete tasks. You will lead strategy sessions, create content, and implement content strategies across multiple teams and projects. You may also act as a team leader and oversee the work of more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create and revise a myriad of deliverables including voice and tone docs, style guides, strategy presentations, copy decks, and more
· Perform all Copywriter tasks at a high level
· Present, defend, and sell work to senior leaders and clients
· Assist Avanade sales teams to sell Content Strategy during the Opportunity Phase
· Assist Avanade sales teams in the overall creation of pitch decks/materials—including providing writing and editorial services
· Evangelize the Content Strategy practice internally at Avanade, and externally to clients who may need content help
· Lead cross-functional and globally dispersed teams
· Communicate with technical developers to transfer content to deliverables.

Qualifications :

Key Requirements:

·  A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar program
·  5+ years in a client-facing writing role at a digital agency supporting national or global brands OR 5+ years in a digital marketing or advertising role working internally at national or global client.
·  2-3 years supporting enterprise-level branding or re-branding efforts
·  Proven ability to present, defend, and sell work that results from complex thinking to senior leaders as the work moves through long, repetitive review cycles
·  Experience interacting with roles beyond the creative team, including but not limited to BAs, UI/UX teams, digital producers, strategists, and researchers
·  Knowledge of UX disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability and content strategies
