 The purpose of the LATAM Senior Scientist Clinical Research is to represent R&D Nutrition Science in the LATAM region as individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area.    The role will build the innovation pipeline and partner with marketing to develop regional claims, science stories and campaigns. 

Main responsibilities:

Function as a Subject Matter Expert to nutrition and clinical science expertise to translate complex science and research into compelling product claims and scientific messaging Designs and engages in clinical research that generates new evidence for new claims, messaging, and publications. Actively engage in product ideation and innovation to build nutrition product pipeline; assess new ingredients and technologies. Prepare and deliver nutrition science-based content and presentations to field sales force, sales training, affiliates, advisory boards, customers, consumers and external key opinion leaders to support the global business strategy. Serves as medical/scientific consultant to marketing or research project teams and government regulatory agencies including label reviews and Ministry of Health (MOH) justifications Develop and review AN product and science educational materials Represent Nutrition Science in cross-functional initiatives and programs.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree or education/experience in Sciences or health-related field required.
·  Master's degree, specialty studies in Nutrition, preferably
·  Skills:

Strong collaborative, project leadership, research, publication/scientific writing skills, excellent oral and written skills required

·  Requirements:

Proven ability to work independently, self-starter, collaborator with global and regional teams and colleagues

Ability to work constructively, decisively and collegially with external and internal customers, consumers and key opinion leaders

·  Solid Nutrition Science Background

Experience.

·   Minimum of 2 years clinical, industry, and/or academic experience that blends science , in area nutrition.
·  Good communication in English (written and oral).
·  Available to travel 20-25%
·  Familiarity with standard IT office tools
