JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Diagnostics Division is looking for an

Medical Research Coordinator

to be based in any of the following countries:

Poland, Romania, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Hungary

In this position you will be responsible for managing clinical studies form beginning to completion with respect to Investigator Initiated Studies, Collaborative Studies and some Abbott Sponsored studies for the Medical and Scientific Affairs group. 

You verify the needed resources and funding for the study as well as coordinate reagents and instrumentation as needed for study timelines.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Receive proposals from potential investigators
• Review proposals with Medical Director
• Verify resources and funding
• Initiate agreements
• Coordinate reagents and instrumentation availability for study timelines
• Monitor study progress
• Verify all study related documentation (IIS forms, IRB approvals, Investigator debarment screening, etc.)
• File documentation and upload to central repository
• Provide timely reports to Medical Director

Minimum Education

• Bachelors and/or advanced degree preferred

• With scientific/clinical background focus preferred

Minimum Experience/Training Required

• At least 6 months clinical study management experience in Academia, Industry or Clinical Setting.
• Industry experience preferred.
