Junior Specialist Technical Support – Automation (m/f/d)

To be based in any european Country

Primary Objective of Position

An Automation Specialist is primarily responsible to provide installation and service support for the most challenging repairs and troubleshooting. In addition, this role provides advanced technical training to ADD internal roles and to end users. The position will have as main focus Automation.

Major Accountabilities

• Own Automation projects implementation across EMEA
• Provide service for designated products (Alinity ci, Automation A3600, Automation GLP, Informatics and Remote Service)
• Provide escalated service support - handling most challenging repairs and troubleshooting, escalated from level two and level one service interventions
• Provide backup level one and level two service
• Perform new customers and laboratory site inspections for new contract / tender preparations and design for new installations
• Prepare and participate in customer business reviews
• Monitor instrument reliability and prepare service recovery plan for highly serviced I highly cost instruments
• Perform proactive log analysis for the designed products and provide corrective actions
• Perform technical coaching and training for Senior Technical Service Specialist, Technical Service Specialist and Abbott Ambassador
• Participate in Area Expert team for designated products
• Analyze existing solutions to provide improvement suggestions

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical I electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.
• Preferably some experience as Technical Service Specialist and or a proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references
• Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
• Technical expert for product line accountability
