As a Junior AEM Software Developer, you will assist in the development, implementation and management of technology-based business solutions to improve our business needs. You will be coding, testing and implementing configuration changes and assisting in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Learn the codebase for different AEM sites
Troubleshoot and work on small bug fixes
Participate in paired development with mid-level and senior team members
Attend and contribute to development team meetings
Work on minor enhancements

Education/ Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience
Master’s Degree preferred
Good knowledge about object-oriented programming and commonly used programming languages: Java, J2EE Servlet/JSP, XML
Familiarity with development of RESTful Web Services
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (preferably ExtJS and jQuery)
Experience with unit testing using JUnit
Strong capability to identify requirements and define technical solutions
