JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is in the HR Technology Services Team within the Global HR Services organization.   As an Architect, Talent Acquisition you will deliver high quality systems’ enhancements and projects for Abbott’s Human Resources organization, specifically the Talent Acquisition functional area. You will partner with our customers to resolve issues and implement new and enhanced Corporate HR talent acquisition systems and processes. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business clients to help shape and realize their vision
  • Deep understanding of Recruiting and related HR business processes in ERP
  • Demonstrate knowledge about talent acquisition technologies and participate in training and development initiatives to keep abreast of current trends and practices.
  • Manage and coach a team of employee and contingent workers
  • Responsible for managing all stages of the technology projects, from functional/technical requirements gathering to project planning and implementation
  • Lead functional design sessions/workshops with business functional owners, domain experts, and end users at all levels
  • Collect and analyze business requirements and design, implement and customize business system and standard operating procedures accordingly.
  • Design, develop and implement business solutions and computer systems to meet business requirements within time and cost constraints.
  • Configure and validate HRIS applications in SaaS Workday Cloud solution using functional system configurations, business process configurations and Enterprise Interface Builder web service tool.
  • Implement quality standards for own work; monitor and manage work of team members, providing feedback as appropriate.
  • Work on complex service oriented architecture design and implementation for various business operations
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with HR systems implementations/operations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Workday implementations/operations
  • Experience leading technical and cross-functional projects is required
  • Experience implementing Workday or similar applications is required
  • Expertise in the following Workday modules: HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Business Process Framework, Security, Eligibility rules and Notifications
  • Nice to have:  Workday Compensation, experience with Fieldglass, Phenom People, and Hirevue, 
  • Able to build structure in ambiguous situations and establish best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The minimum education requirement to perform these job duties is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience in application/systems development, implementation, support experience. 
  • Required Experience:  5+ years
