JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Diagnostics has an opening for Supervisor FP&A located in Conway Park. This individual will lead the monthly close consolidation and quarterly RLBE consolidation processes, ensuring timely division submissions for ADD R&D.

Additional key responsibilities include:

• Provide direct financial support to the regulatory and medical clinical teams, and IP/Licensing teams, including accounting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. This includes direct support of the DVPs and a number of Director level staff for various projects and requests
• Assist with training, directing, and providing feedback/coaching for the FPDP that will be working closely with this position assisting with the execution of the consolidation.
• Develop and deliver complex ad hoc analyses for the business, to support the Senior leadership in disseminating information and decision making,
• Assist with the R&D Capital plan and Balance Sheet process. This position will require an understanding of business processes and procedures to generate innovative solutions to drive efficiencies.

Education:

The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years of progressive financial experience. Supervisory experience is a plus. Experience with an international business and familiarity with Exchange is preferred.

Background:

Strong financial analysis, planning and technical Excel skills are required. In addition, technical accounting skills, and prior experience interacting with internal and external auditors is strongly preferred. Candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and customer relations skills to support interactions with various disciplines and experience levels within ADD. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment is critical for success.
