JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position requires knowledge of basic Electrical Lab equipment and High voltage RF amplifier systems. This individual will be primarily running MRI proof of safety testing of RF and Magnetic environments on Development Projects and Implantable Products. We are looking for a very detailed oriented individual whom will be responsible for:

  • Lab infrastructure Metrology and maintenance aspects.
  • Preparation of different types of tissue simulant medias.
  • High current RF Compliance test execution.
  • Data Analysis.
  • Automated Measurement systems data collection.
  • Basic circuit troubleshooting.

Requirements for this position:

  • 1-2 Years’ experience with MRI test System is a must
  • Associates of electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable with DC and AC circuitry
  • Proficient with Lab equipment i.e. LCR meter, Oscilloscope, DMM’s, RF amplifiers, Magnetic Test systems, Spectrum or network analyzer.
  • Full time position requiring overtime occasionally

Qualifications/What we look for

  • Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (preferred associates degree in fire protection); or one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions, e.g. safety notices and rules, test procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to apply all basic math functions, e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within Microsoft Office applications. Ability to type preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to reason in a teamwork atmosphere. Ability to learn, change, and adapt as needed.
  • Finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls.
  • Stand, walk, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
